Christian Dennie recently won a $824,580.49 verdict in an arbitration involving a commerical construction project.  Christian represented an entity that owns a shopping center in Arlington, Texas.  Christian’s client contracted with a roofing construction firm to construct an Asian-style roofing system.  Unfortunately, the roofing construction firm left the job without completing the project and caused substantial damages.  On behalf of his client, Christian recovered damages (including liquidated damages), treble damages, attorneys’ fees, and court costs pursuant to claims for breach of contract, negligence, breach of express warranties, breach of implied warranties, and violations of the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA).
