University of Minnesota Will Appeal to Minnesota Supreme Court

As previously reported, the Minnesota Court of Appeals upheld Jimmy Williams' jury award relating to representations made to him by Tubby Smith about employment with the University of Minnesota basketball staff.  The Court of Appeals affirmed the jury verdict that awarded Williams in excess of $1,000,000.00 in damages.  The University of Minnesota announced that it will seek review by the Minnesota Supreme Court in an effort to overturn the jury;'s award.
